Kitty is a wonderful well rounded whippet. She is my pride and joy! I had hoped to compete with her in the breed, obedience and agility rings, but had to take some time off due to a broken leg (she jumped of the top of an A-Frame). Kitty went to her first agility trial on Jan 1 & 2, 2005. She competed in 3 classes of tunnelers, qualifying in all 3!!! Her second run she got 2nd place and her third run she got 4th place!!
I have decided to place Kitty in a 'retirement' home where she will be even more spoiled then she already is. This is largely in part to her leg injury, exacerbated by whelping a litter, preventing her from enjoying agility, coursing and racing. I love her dearly, but feel she will be happier not being left behind on show and coursing weekends. She was spayed on Oct 6 and joined her new family Oct 27, which includes her son Nico.
Mmmm, I smell dinner....
